Strategic Workforce Development is hiring a Yard Shuttle Lead to oversee vehicle inventory lots for a major automaker in the Kansas City area.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Shift: 1st shift (evenings, weekends or holidays as needed)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead, train and monitor yard shuttle drivers and inspectors
- Make sure vehicles are moved, parked and stored correctly and safely
- Keep the schedule for vehicle arrivals and departures
- Drive company or customer vehicles safely and do pre- and post-trip inspections
- Watch for hazards, keep records and complete reports on time
WHAT YOU NEED
- Lead or supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication and attention to safety
