Strategic Workforce Development is hiring Food Production Workers for a cold food manufacturing facility in the Kansas City area.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
Pay: 16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Work environment: approximately 35 degrees Fahrenheit
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will work on a production line trimming chicken breasts, assembling chicken kabobs on skewers, and assisting with general food production duties.
Trim and prepare chicken breasts for production
Assemble chicken kabobs on skewers to production requirements
Work efficiently on a production line
Follow food safety, sanitation and quality-control procedures
Wear required protective clothing and PPE
Keep a clean and organized work area
Follow instructions from supervisors and production leads
Work cooperatively with other team members
Perform other food production duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Must be comfortable working in a 35 degree environment
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Able to work with raw food products
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Must be background eligible
Must be drug-free and able to pass a drug screening
Must follow all company food safety and hygiene requirements
Previous food production experience is preferred but not required
